Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Malaysia is seeking a Staff Process Engineer to qualify and sustain Power QFN and Cu Clip related thin die assembly processes for SPS products. You will design packages, develop qualification processes and ramp up manufacturing volumes with qualified sources.

The role requires strong knowledge in quality, reliability and SPC, plus experience with NPI-to-production transfers and managing lifecycle documents.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Mechanical, Materials, Physics, Chemistry or Applied Sciences.
• Experience in process engineering or package development for thin wafer handling and SPS solder attach processes.
• Knowledge of PQFN/QFN/WLCSP and leaded packages.
• Knowledge of quality and reliability requirements for PQFNs/QFNs/WLCSP.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, Assembly Sustenance and Process Improvements on Power QFN package and Cu Clip related thin die assembly processes.
• Design package and develop processes to qualify PQFN packages for SPS products and modules.
• Ramp up manufacturing volume and qualify required sources.
• Improve assembly yield, capacity, quality and costs.
• Address internal and external customer feedback / issues with Test, Product Engineers, Quality & Operations.
• Manage Product Lifecycle Management documents to the latest status.
