Job summary

Celestica seeks a Staff Engineer, Program/Project Management to plan and direct design and manufacturing engineers on large, multi-stream projects. You will manage the development, implementation and evaluation of complex designs, ensuring DFx closure and manufacturing readiness before each build.

The role requires steering phase gates and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Eight to twelve years in manufacturing or NPI engineering.
• Degree in engineering; travel may be required.
• Willing to travel to build sites for critical builds.

Responsibilities

• Steer DFx closure for the programme and ensure findings are owned and closed.
• Write and maintain the manufacturing scope of the Programme SOW.
• Sign manufacturing readiness before each build with clear owners and dates.
• Own the manufacturing content of the phase gate package and present it at the gate.
• Drive yield recovery, defect attribution and open-item burn-down on early builds.
