Job summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking an accomplished Senior Process Engineer to lead development and release of full manufacturing processes for new customer products.

You will translate customer roadmaps into actionable process plans and drive costed improvements using DFX tools while ensuring quality and reliability. You will plan and lead DOE-based capability assessments, devise robust process controls, and communicate critical technical and business issues to management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or technical leadership driving failure analysis, CAPA, and yield improvement in high-tech manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience translating customer roadmaps into manufacturing processes and using DOE for capability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and release of the full manufacturing process for new customer products.
• Understand and feedback customer technical requirements to the team and management.
• Develop and implement costed and optimized feedback using DFX tools to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Plan, lead, and assess process capability using Design of Experiments.
• Devise process controls and data collection strategies; analyze data to report yield, reliability, and root causes.
• Communicate critical technical and business issues to management in a timely manner.
