Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks an SPC Engineer to implement and maintain SPC systems for module testers, monitor process performance, and develop DV and Master modules for SPC activities.

You will analyze testing failures, work with cross-functional teams, and build SPC tools in JMP, Minitab, Python, and Excel, supporting NPI, process validation, and continuous improvement in a 100% onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in SPC, manufacturing, test engineering, quality, or data analysis.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab, Python, or Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ATC software and SPC webpage, including data processing and monitoring.

• Maintain SPC procedures, control plans, work instructions, and audit documentation.
• Support NPI activities, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper tester setup, maintenance, controls, and data integrity.
