Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Malaysia seeks a Maintenance/Testing Technician to support tester equipment uptime and reliability.

You will help maintain, configure, and troubleshoot testers, and contribute to safe, compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

• Ensure tester operating minimize test equipment down time.
• Responsible for the periodic DV of tester.
• Improve test setup ergonomic and test operating efficiency thru elimination, simplification, integration and automation approaches.
• Support test yield and testability enhancement project for all products.
• Elimination, minimizing over rejection on tester, improve performance of tester.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines.
• SPC monitoring of tester performance.
• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
• Authorized to stop any tester if the tester facing quality or safety issue.
• Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

Job Requirements

Education: Diploma of in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering or relevant.

Experience: At least 1 year of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
