Job summary

Cytogenomix Sdn. Bhd. in Penang invites applications for Sr Finance Exec / Finance Manager (based in George Town).

You will manage full sets of accounts, payroll, AR/AP, invoicing, stock takes and banking reconciliations, while liaising with auditors, tax agents and authorities. The role requires an accounting degree or professional qualification, plus 3+ years in a similar position. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or professional accounting qualification.
• ACCA/CIMA/MICPA or degree from a reputable university for Finance Manager.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate/Advanced).

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts – Monthly Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Management Reports on timely basis and meeting deadlines for respective reports.
• Invoicing and assist in collections.
• Managing and reviewing Stocktake.
• Reviewing Monthly Payroll, overseeing the leave management and preparation of commissions.
• Managing the AR and AP functions.
• Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statements and Weekly Bank Balances.
• Overseeing and verifying the Petty Cash management.
• Assisting in Costing and Pricing exercise.
• Liaising with Bankers, Auditors, Tax Agents, Company Secretary and Authorities.
• Overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of the offices and operations of the Company.
• Assist in liaising with external consultants and contractors, where necessary.

Computer-literate: Computerised Accounting System, MS Excel (Intermediate or Advanced).

Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia. Advantage to those who can converse in Mandarin.

Applicants must be willing to work in Penang.
