Job summary

Genpact Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Associate in F&A - R2R to manage end-to-end General Accounting activities. You will oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, while supporting intercompany and fixed assets processes.

The role requires strong R2R expertise, knowledge of SOX controls, and the ability to drive process improvements in a dynamic AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and masters qualifications in accounting/finance related fields.
• Certifications CFA/CPA/CRCM listed in qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities in General Accounting.
• Review team activities including reconciliations, journal entries, reports and audit requests.
• Perform Month End Close activities.
• Manage Fixed Assets capitalization and maintenance.
• Handle Intercompany Accounting tasks.
• Conduct Bank and Investment reconciliations.
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations.
• Carry out Fixed Assets reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL).
• Identify balancing items and clearance.
• Perform Escheat reconciliations.
• Prepare Corporate Reporting.
• Support Internal and External Audit.
• Ensure SOX compliance.
• Identify opportunities and propose process and automation improvements.
