Job summary

Genpact Malaysia is seeking a Sr. Associate in Finance & Accounting (R2R) to lead general accounting activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting. You will review daily team output, support fixed assets, intercompany, and SOX processes, and drive opportunities for automation.

The role requires a Finance background with Masters and relevant certifications; language is English. Work is on-site in Malaysia with opportunities to contribute to global finance initiatives

Qualifications

• Finance degree(s) required.
• Masters or higher preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications add value.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all activities in General Accounting and R2R scope.
• Review daily team output: reconciliations, journal entries, reports, audit requests.
• Support fixed assets, intercompany, bank, and GL reconciliations.
• Assist SOX compliance and corporate reporting.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Intercompany Accounting Bank and Investment Reconciliations General Ledger Reconciliations
• Fixed Assets Reconciliations (FA Clearing & SL-GL) Identifying balancing items and its clearance Escheat Reconciliations
• Corporate Reporting Internal and External Audit SOX Compliance
• Find opportunities and recommend solutions for process and automation improvements
