Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to design, develop, and optimise SQL Server databases and ETL processes in a contract, onsite role at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of SQL Server experience and be proficient in SSIS, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in SQL Server development and involvement in at least 2 data-related projects.
Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server with strong SSIS skills.
Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQL logic.
Good written and spoken communication in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
Write efficient and maintainable complex SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Optimise existing SQL logic to improve query performance and system stability.
Independently conduct data requirement analysis, model design, development implementation, and go-live support.
Communicate technical requirements and solutions with business teams and overseas stakeholders.
