Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer to design, develop, and optimise SQL Server databases and ETL processes in a contract, onsite role at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of SQL Server experience and be proficient in SSIS, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in SQL Server development and involvement in at least 2 data-related projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server with strong SSIS skills.
• Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQL logic.
• Good written and spoken communication in Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
• Write efficient and maintainable complex SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Optimise existing SQL logic to improve query performance and system stability.
• Independently conduct data requirement analysis, model design, development implementation, and go-live support.
• Communicate technical requirements and solutions with business teams and overseas stakeholders.
