Job summary

The SQL Server ETL & Data Warehouse Developer role focuses on designing, building, and tuning SQL Server databases to support data warehouse initiatives. You will develop ETL processes with SSIS, write complex SQL scripts, and optimize existing logic for performance and stability.

You will independently analyze data needs, design models, implement solutions, and support go-live, while communicating with business and overseas teams.

Qualifications

SQL Server ETL & Data Warehouse Developer

This role involves SQL Server database design, development, testing, and performance tuning. You will develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading, and write efficient and maintainable complex SQL scripts including stored procedures, functions, and triggers. You will optimize existing SQL logic to improve query performance and system stability, independently complete data requirement analysis, model design, development implementation, and go-live support, and communicate technically with business teams and overseas teams to ensure accurate requirement delivery.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and tune SQL Server databases for performance

Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data extraction, transformation, and loading

Write efficient and maintainable complex SQL scripts, including stored procedures, functions, and triggers

Optimize existing SQL logic to improve query performance and system stability

Complete data requirement analysis, model design, development implementation, and go-live support independently

Communicate technically with business teams and overseas teams to ensure accurate requirement delivery

About you

Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server and skilled in SSIS

Expert in writing and tuning complex SQL logic

3+ years of SQL Server development experience

Full data warehouse or BI project experience preferred

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields

Participation in at least 2 complete data-related projects

Good written and spoken communication skills in both Chinese and English

Capable of basic technical communication in English

Strong problem-solving ability and high sense of responsibility

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Monthly base pay

20% salary increase upon confirmation
