Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced SQL Server Developer for an onsite contract role. You will design, develop, and optimise SQL Server databases and ETL processes, collaborating with global teams to deliver data solutions.

Required: a degree in CS/IT, 3+ years in SQL Server with SSIS, and strong SQL skills. Fluency in Chinese and English is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position and applicants must have work rights in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in CS/IT or related fields.
Minimum 3 years' experience in SQL Server development.
Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server with SSIS.
Expertise in writing and tuning complex SQL logic.
ETL development using SSIS for data extraction and loading.
Good written and spoken communication in English; Chinese helpful.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test SQL Server databases to meet business requirements.
Write efficient and maintainable complex SQL scripts (stored procedures, functions, triggers).
Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
Optimise existing SQL logic to improve performance and stability.
Communicate technical requirements with business teams and overseas stakeholders.
