Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive specification development and project sales for Premix and Construction Chemical systems. You will engage architects, consultants, developers, contractors, applicators, and project stakeholders to create demand and convert opportunities into revenue while meeting targets.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience in specification or project sales within building materials or construction chemicals, with strong relationship-building

Qualifications

• Senior Executive: Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in specification sales, project sales, or business development within building materials, premix products, construction chemicals, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, façade, concrete repair, or related industries.
• Assistant Manager: Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in specification and project sales within the construction or building materials industry with proven project acquisition and specification conversion track record.

Responsibilities

• Drive specification activities for Premix and Construction Chemical systems through architects, consultants, developers, quantity surveyors, engineers, and project influencers.
• Promote company solutions and secure product specifications in project tender documents and design requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within targeted market segments.
• Identify and track upcoming projects from concept, design, tender, and construction stages.
• Develop and maintain a project pipeline and specification database.
• Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations and consultations.
• Collaborate with Technical and Marketing teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support consultants and customers with technical submissions and specification writing.
• Achieve assigned sales, gross profit and collection targets.
• Convert specified projects into actual sales through engagement with contractors and distributors.
• Develop and expand customer accounts, project channels and business opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up on project awards.
• Conduct regular customer visits and project site inspections.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and effective credit management.

• Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
• Prospect and acquire new customers and projects.
• Gather and report market intelligence, competitor activities and pricing trends.
• Support implementation of strategic sales initiatives and annual sales action plans.

Customer Relationship & Technical Support

• Work closely with Technical Services, Marketing, Operations and Customer Service teams.
• Handle customer complaints, technical queries and project-related issues promptly.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and after-sales support.

Experience
