I. Business Development & Relationship Management
Spearhead the development of strategic business opportunities by building and nurturing strong professional relationships with key project specifiers, including Developers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, Interior Designers, and Quantity Surveyors (QS).
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive sales plans, strategies, and tactics to ensure the consistent achievement of aggressive sales objectives and market penetration goals.
Initiate strategic approaches and compelling presentations to potential clients, successfully developing customized proposals and closing high-value sales contracts.
Proactively invite and host key decision-makers at the showroom to facilitate product viewing and deepen product engagement.
Manage the timely submission of all commercial documentation, including formal quotations, detailed proposals, and product sample boards.
Ensure optimal stock and supply chain coordination by monitoring product order cycles and current inventory levels to timely project delivery.
Oversee and manage the critical aspect of payment collection, collaborating closely with the Finance Department to manage Customer Account Receivables (AR) aging and resolve late payment issues.
Provide regular, data-driven progress updates and accurate sales forecasts to management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Actively monitor and analyse customer feedback and evolving market trends to allow for proactive adjustments to sales strategies and product positioning.
Serve as the central liaison with the Marketing Department to ensure cohesive execution and maximum effectiveness of promotional campaigns and initiatives.
Manage all aspects of after-sales service and support, coordinating efficiently with the Technical Team to ensure the prompt and satisfactory resolution of all customer issues.
Job Requirement
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Minimum of a Diploma qualification in any relevant field.
Industry Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of proven working experience specifically within the Sanitary Wares (or related Building Materials / Construction) industry is required.
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential for effective communication with all stakeholders.
Skills & Tools
Communication & Negotiation: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation abilities to secure high-value contracts.
Technical Proficiency: Competency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) for reporting and presentation purposes.
