Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin with ability to contribute across both platforms.
• Experience with native mobile architectures and SDKs (UIKit/SwiftUI; Jetpack Compose).
• Experience designing UI/UX per Apple/Google design guidelines.
• Git version control, branching workflows, and code reviews.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications across iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) using native SDKs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UI/UX, Backend) to define, design, and ship high-quality features across both platforms.
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Google Material Design.
• Ensure application performance, stability, and responsiveness across diverse device form factors, screen densities, and OS versions for both iOS and Android.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests and write robust code following engineering best practices and architectural patterns on each platform.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs, memory issues, and performance bottlenecks across both codebases.
• Stay up to date with evolving mobile technologies, platform updates (Apple/Google), and emerging developer tooling.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and workflows to accelerate dual-platform delivery, translate logic across Swift/Kotlin, and streamline feature implementation while maintaining native quality standards.

Role Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience developing native mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Strong proficiency in either Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android) with proven ability or strong enthusiasm to contribute across both platforms.
• Solid understanding of native mobile architecture and SDKs (UIKit / SwiftUI for iOS, View System / Jetpack Compose for Android).
• Experience designing and building intuitive UI/UX adhering to platform design guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines & Google Material Design).
• Proficiency in Git version control, branching workflows, and collaborative code reviews.
• Proficiency in modern mobile languages: Swift and/or Kotlin, with the ability to write clean, modular, and maintainable code.
• Experience with native development IDEs and toolchains: Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, and relevant profiling/debugging tools.
• Asynchronous & reactive programming: Experience with concurrency patterns (e.g., Swift Concurrency async/await, Combine, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow).
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience writing automated tests using frameworks such as XCTest, JUnit, MockK, or Espresso.
• Third-party integration & networking: Experience integrating RESTful APIs, SDKs, and dependency managers (SPM, CocoaPods, Gradle).
• Legacy code familiarity (Bonus): Familiarity with Objective-C and/or Java is a plus for maintaining legacy modules.
• AI-assisted engineering: Well-versed in leveraging AI developer tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude/ChatGPT) for code generation, cross-platform logic translation between Swift and Kotlin, debugging, and test creation.
• Problem-solving & collaboration: Excellent analytical thinking, debugging skills, and strong communication across engineering and product teams.
• Passion for mobile craftsmanship: Dedicated to delivering polished, responsive, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
