AIA in Malaysia is seeking a qualified professional to support Group and local management reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in line with Group procedures. You will consolidate reports, perform analytical reviews, and assist with new processes and controls to enhance efficiency.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy with ACCA or equivalent and 4–6 years of multinational experience, with exposure to management/financial reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with ACCA or equivalent.
• 4–6 years in a multinational environment with regional exposure.
• Experience with management and financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience in shared services or similar environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of systems such as Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, Power BI, SAP or BPC is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide support of the Group and local management reporting including reporting and analysis.
• Ensure the Group and local management reporting procedures conform to the requirements as well as completed timely, accurately and effectively.
• Responsible to ensure all required management reporting and analysis are provided to Group Office and local business units timely, accurately and in accordance with the Group’s reporting procedures
• Support local business units in the management reporting process and perform timely analytical review on the management reports submitted by business units.
• Support the consolidation of Group management reports on daily, monthly or quarterly basis in timely manner with analysis on Group results.
• Ensure information received from the local business units complies with Group standards for both financial and management reporting.
• Support Group Office and local business units on relevant management reporting and analysis matters by providing timely and satisfactory response on all queries to enable business decisions
• Support the development, design, and implementation of new processes, controls and functionally changes to existing systems to improve current processes, controls and overall effectiveness of the team
• Responsible to update Business Process Manuals, Control Checklist and Training Materials as and when new enhancement identified, implemented and communicated, and at least on an annual basis
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet management reporting and/or other requirements.

About the Role

Job Requirements :

• Degree holder in Accountancy with professional qualification in ACCA or equivalent
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience gained within a multinational environment with regional exposure
• Experience with management and financial reports and analysis
• Experience in a shared services or similar environment providing reporting and analysis services to external/internal stakeholders preferred
• Knowledge of systems e.g. Microsoft Azure/ Power Apps/ Power Bl/ SAP/ BPC preferred
