Job summary

AIA in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of accounting records, and compliance with accepted standards and regulatory requirements.

The role covers general accounting activities, ledger maintenance and the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, budgeting and statutory reports to support a healthier financial foundation for the company and its communities.

Qualifications

• Perform general accounting activities including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements
• Prepare, record, analyse and report accounting transactions
• Provide forecast, budgeting and analysing variations from budget to relevant functions
• Analyse and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports
• Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects
