Job summary

Eduguru Childcare Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our Kuala Lumpur team on a full-time basis. You will design and deliver individualized learning support for children with additional needs in a mixed-age setting.

You will collaborate with educators, create IEPs, monitor progress, communicate with parents, and liaise with therapists to support inclusive early childhood practice.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or related field
• Experience working with children with additional needs (early intervention or inclusive settings preferred)
• Understanding of developmental milestones and differences (autism, ADHD, speech delays, sensory processing)

Key responsibilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's developmental needs

Provide one-on-one and small-group support within an inclusive, mixed-age classroom

Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curriculum, activities, and environment for diverse learners

Monitor and document each child's progress, adjusting strategies as needed

Communicate regularly and sensitively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development

Liaise with external therapists or specialists (speech, occupational, behavioral) as required

Support a warm, structured, and safe learning environment for all children

About you

Diploma or degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field

Prior experience working with children with additional needs (early intervention or inclusive settings preferred)

Sound understanding of developmental milestones and common learning/developmental differences (e.g. autism spectrum, ADHD, speech/language delays, sensory processing)

Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching

Strong communication skills, both with children and with parents

Able to work collaboratively within a small, close-knit teaching team
