Job summary

Joyous Kiddy HQ SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru invites a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teacher to deliver high-quality Mandarin language and SEN support for young learners. This full-time role focuses on inclusive teaching and collaborative family engagement.

You will develop individualised plans, work with therapists, and monitor progress in a nurturing classroom that accommodates diverse needs. Requires at least 2 years SEN experience and Mandarin proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Special Education Need Teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with diverse learning needs.
• Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin/Chinese (the role involves teaching Mandarin and communicating with students and parents).
