Job summary

Amari SPICE Penang seeks a Spa Manager to drive revenue growth, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure operational excellence. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and coordinate with hotel departments to maximise profitability while upholding high standards of hygiene and service.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality or Spa Management with 3–5 years of supervisory spa experience and a proven ability to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Spa Management, Wellness, Business Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of spa/hospitality supervisory experience, with track record of revenue growth and cost control.
• Strong leadership, communication and guest relations skills.
• Knowledge of health, hygiene, safety and spa standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily spa operations in line with SOPs and standards.
• Drive revenue through treatment sales, retail, packages, upselling and therapist utilisation.
• Monitor revenue targets, budgets and address performance gaps to maximise profitability.
• Manage spa budget, manpower, inventory and operating costs within approved budgets.
• Lead, coach and develop Spa Team Members to meet service and sales targets.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to support guest requirements and overall revenue objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of performance, scheduling and guest feedback.
• Ensure treatments are delivered consistently per Spa Training Manual and procedures.
• Handle emergencies and operational issues promptly and professionally.
