Job summary

Regent in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Spa & Wellness Supervisor to lead and manage spa and gym operations. You will recruit, train, and supervise staff, schedule coverage for peak periods, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

This role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and collaboration with other department heads to uphold Regent's standards and drive revenue through memberships and promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa or hospitality with at least 3–4 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to guide a team and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, and develop staff while managing budgets and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, creating schedules that ensure coverage during peak hours.
• Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and set performance and development goals for team members, providing mentoring and feedback.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other department heads.
• Prepare and administer induction programmes for new staff.
• Maintain current spa standards and procedures.
• Conduct training needs analysis and input for probation reviews and disciplinary matters.
• Prepare and manage the annual Spa budget and financial plans, monitoring expenses to increase productivity.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage costs for supplies and labour.
• Contribute to departmental goals aligned with hotel strategy and to pricing decisions, including memberships.
