Job summary

Areoma Wellness Sdn Bhd is hiring a friendly receptionist for our Penang spa. You will greet guests, manage bookings, handle calls and online reservations, and coordinate with therapists to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires good English and Malay communication, with Mandarin or Hokkien as an added advantage. Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required as part of a dynamic spa schedule.

Qualifications

• Friendly, well-groomed and presentable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, organized and able to multitask.
• Able to communicate in English & Malay.
• (Mandarin & Hokkien an added advantage).
• Prior experience in customer service or spa/beauty industry is a plus.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Manage bookings, appointments, and walk-in customers efficiently
• Handle phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and online reservations
• Ensure smooth customer flow and coordination with therapists
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Process payments and ensure accuracy in POS system records
• Manage customer data, credits, and vouchers with accuracy and confidentiality
• Assist in promoting spa services, packages, and ongoing promotions
• Support daily operations and administrative tasks when required
