Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the full sales cycle for battery test and manufacturing equipment across Southeast Asia, with primary duties in Penang, Malaysia. You will identify prospects, expand opportunities, conduct on-site visits, and coordinate demonstrations with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technical sales or business development, strong negotiation skills, and a network in the battery industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years in technical sales or business development.
Existing personal network within the battery industry is a strong advantage.
Fluent in English (C2); additional regional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage full sales cycle for battery test and manufacturing equipment in Southeast Asia.
Identify new prospects and revenue streams across Southeast Asia.
Develop and expand sales opportunities with existing customers.
Conduct on-site customer visits and deliver technical and commercial presentations.
Organize and coordinate product demonstrations for prospective customers.
Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to support engagements.
Support marketing activities and participate in trade shows and events.
Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial quotations.
Secure purchase orders and achieve sales targets.
