Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales for battery test and manufacturing equipment in Southeast Asia. Based in Penang, you will manage the full sales cycle, identify new prospects, expand existing accounts, and present technical and commercial solutions to customers across the region.

You will collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams, participate in trade shows, and travel across Southeast Asia to build partnerships and meet targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in technical sales or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Existing battery industry network is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Identify new prospects and develop revenue streams across Southeast Asia.
• Develop and expand sales opportunities with existing customers.
• Conduct on-site customer visits and deliver technical and commercial presentations.
• Organize and coordinate product demonstrations for prospective customers.
• Work closely with the pre-sales and technical teams to support customer engagements.
• Support marketing activities and participate in trade shows and industry events.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate commercial quotations.
• Secure purchase orders and achieve agreed sales targets.
