Job summary
Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Sourcing Assistant Manager to lead OEM sourcing, supplier management and cost optimisation, ensuring supply continuity and competitiveness.
You will develop strategies, negotiate contracts, drive supplier performance and collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance to support NPI and localisation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in OEM Sourcing, Commodity / Category Management, or Strategic Procurement.
- Proven experience in Supplier Management, Cost Negotiation and Contract Management.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and OEM supply models.
- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Ariba.
- Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.

- Lead and develop a team of sourcing/commodity professionals.
