Osadi Commercial Supplies Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Procurement professional to lead MRO category strategies and global procurement objectives. You will manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and commercial analyses to drive cost savings.
The role requires strong negotiation, contract management, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Finance, and Quality, and excellent stakeholder management. 3+ years in strategic sourcing preferred.
Develop and execute MRO category strategies aligned with business and global procurement objectives.
Lead RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, including supplier identification, evaluation, commercial analysis, and selection.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, service agreements, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
Identify and implement cost reduction and cost optimization opportunities through strategic sourcing, competitive bidding, spend analysis, and supplier negotiations.
Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, cost, and service levels.
Conduct market research, benchmarking, and cost analysis to support sourcing and procurement decisions.
Ensure contract compliance, including commercial terms, pricing, service levels, and procurement policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Finance, Quality, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective sourcing solutions.
Lead procurement projects and initiatives to improve supplier performance, procurement efficiency, and overall MRO spend management.
Track and report category performance, savings, supplier KPIs, and other relevant procurement metrics to management.
Support the implementation of global procurement strategies and initiatives at the local level.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, standardize sourcing activities, and strengthen supply continuity.
Strong strategic sourcing and procurement skills with demonstrated negotiation capabilities.
Excellent project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of supplier management, contract negotiation, cost analysis, and sourcing processes.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to present strategies, business cases, and performance metrics to management and key stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or category management.
Experience in MRO procurement or related industrial/manufacturing categories is highly preferred.
Proven experience in supplier negotiations, RFP/RFQ management, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
Experience working with cross-functional and international stakeholders is an advantage.
