Keysight Technologies is seeking a Solution Engineer to translate customer needs into ICT and Board Functional Test solutions. You will work at customer sites across Malaysia and neighboring countries, delivering training, consulting, and support to ensure successful startup and operation of test systems and data analytics software.

The role involves technical solution selling, creating proposals, and collaborating with sales teams to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in electronics manufacturing test, specifically In-Circuit Test and/or Board Functional Test.
• Test programming and development experience, customer support experience, broad industry knowledge.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent presentation and customer-facing skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently and meet business objectives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training, test application support and consulting to customers to ensure successful startup and operation of ICT, Board Functional Test systems and data analytics software.
• Provide in-depth technical consultation to address customer needs and configure solutions comprising products, software, and services.
• Provide technical evaluation services to drive solution adoption and sales growth.
• Write application notes and case studies based on experience for team and customers.
• Collaborate with Account Manager and other SEs in pre- and post-sale activities.
• Identify new customers and opportunities to contribute to business development.

We are seeing growth opportunities in Malaysia and other South Asia Pacific countries and are expanding our technical solution team to meet this growth. We are looking for engineers with In-Circuit Test or Board Functional Test knowledge who have the passion and drive to ensure customer success and to grow Keysight business. The Solution Engineer (SE) is responsible for translating customer’s technical needs into solutions through a combination of products and services. The SE works regularly at customer sites in the country and sometimes in neighbouring countries. Besides delivering technical solutions and support, the SE will also be supporting sales activities by conducting technical solution selling & generating proposals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training, test application support and consulting to customer to ensure successful startup and operation of the Keysight ICT, Board Functional test systems and data analytics software.


• Provide in-depth technical consultation to customers to address their Board Test needs and to configure the solutions comprising of products, software, and services.


• Provide technical evaluation services to drive solution adoption and sales growth


• Write up application notes and case studies based on solution experience to share with team members and customers.


• Work as a team with the Account Manager and other SEs in pre & post sale activities.


• Contribute to business development by identifying new customers and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.


• 3 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing test especially in In-Circuit test and/or Board Functional Test. Strong knowledge in electronic circuitry. More in-depth experience will be highly valued.


• Test programming and development experience, customer support experience, broad knowledge of related industries and companies, products, and processes.


• Savvy at building customer relationship and understand customers’ needs & business issues, having strong communication skills in verbal & written English


• Able to make clear and confident presentations in front of customers and in seminars


• Results-driven, having a growth mindset in the knowledge of product, solutions, latest technical trends and development, and the relevant industries and able to position Keysight’s solutions favorably with clients. Having past Sales experience is an advantage.


• A self-starter, able to work independently and focus on meeting business objectives.


• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
