Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an electronics engineer to join our team in Penang, Malaysia. You will work on advanced RF engineering projects across design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing processes.

You will apply sound electronic engineering principles to improve products and processes, support new product introductions, and collaborate with procurement and technical services to ensure manufacturability and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

Improves products, processes, and components to meet agreed-upon objectives by applying sound electronic/RF engineering solutions. May redesign products or components to meet cost objectives, component technology obsolescence and customer requirements. Participates actively in new product introduction, including influencing the design of the product to ensure manufacturability and conformance with the global supply chain, enabling prototyping while in the R&D lab, testing the reliability of prototypes and managing the transition into production. Partners with procurement and technical services to improve/sustain products and processes.

May direct the work of third-party vendors and/or partners to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objectives. May work with suppliers to ensure achievement of goals for cost, quality and delivery of parts and materials. May identify and manage ERP data such as bill of material and routing.

Discipline:

• Determines and develops approaches to assignments.
• Leads development projects requiring coordination with other functions, suppliers.
• Solves a broad range of problems varying in scope and complex.

Qualifications

Ability to troubleshoot and solve system or hardware issues for signal analysis product by applying sound electronic/RF engineering solutions in improving products and processes to meet to meet business objective in sustaining/improving product cost, yield and reliability improvement.

There is possibility to participates actively in new product introduction, enabling prototyping, testing and managing manufacturing transition including influencing product design in ensuring manufacturability and conformance with global supply chain including managing ERP data such as bill of material and routing.

Must be agile and ability to work seamlessly with diverse team across various department within/outside Keysight in ensuring optimize solution be deliver within project timeline.

Prerequisite: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electronic engineering. Multiple working experience in related field.
