Job summary

Obiguard is seeking a Solutions Engineer based in Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley. You’ll work with security and platform teams during pilots, acting as technical advisor and customer advocate.

Day-to-day can be remote within KL, with occasional on-site in KL offices; we do not sponsor visas or relocation. As a forward-deployed role, you’ll scope integrations, run proofs-of-concept, and help production enforcement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical customer-facing role—ideally in security or infra SaaS.
• Hands-on with APIs, containers/Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
• Able to read and reason about application architecture well enough to scope an integration solo.
• Strong presentation skills—comfortable running a technical demo in front of a security team.
• Genuine curiosity about LLM/agent security and enterprise AI adoption.
• Comfortable with extended client-site deployments—up to three weeks at a time during active pilots.

Solutions Engineer

Work directly with security and platform teams during pilots. You’re part technical advisor, part customer advocate.

You must be based in Kuala Lumpur / Klang Valley and already have the right to work in Malaysia. Day-to-day work can be remote within KL, but you’ll come into our KL office when the business needs it. We do not sponsor visas or relocation.

Full-time. Open to part-time arrangements, and we welcome internship applications for this role.

About The Role

Enterprise pilots live or die on technical execution. As Solutions Engineer, you’ll be the technical voice in every pilot — scoping integrations, running proofs-of-concept, and helping security and platform teams get Obiguard enforcing policy in production. You sit at the intersection of sales, engineering, and the customer. This is a forward-deployed role — you may be deployed on-site at client offices for stretches of up to three weeks at a time for scoping sessions, POCs, and security reviews.
