Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI Solutions to design and deliver AI-powered software. You will work onsite in Malaysia, building end-to-end applications with a focus on secure, observable, and scalable solutions while leveraging AI coding tools and agentic workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software engineering experience, a degree in CS/DS/AI, and hands-on delivery across backend, data integration, and frontend.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or equivalent.
• Must reside in Malaysia with legal work rights.
• Hands-on delivery across backend, data integration, and frontend.
• Experience building AI-powered applications and validating outputs.
• Experience with AI coding tools and agentic development workflows, including prompt/context engineering and human review of AI-generated code.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automated testing, security, and observability.
• Ability to independently take requirements through implementation and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver applications spanning data integration, backend, APIs, and frontend.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features and models into applications.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer – AI Solutions to build innovative AI-powered solutions from the ground up, leveraging advanced AI coding tools and agentic workflows to deliver high-quality, secure, and maintainable applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver applications spanning data integration, backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Build and integrate AI-powered features and models into applications.
• Utilise AI coding tools and coordinate agentic workflows, ensuring appropriate human oversight throughout development.
• Create and maintain reusable project templates, agent instructions, rules files, and skills libraries.
• Review, validate, and take responsibility for AI-generated code and final deliverables.
• Implement automated tests and evaluations to verify application behaviour and AI outputs.
• Deliver secure, observable, and maintainable applications using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Apply UI/UX principles to develop clear and usable interfaces.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and delivery risks promptly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to code reviews, resolve technical debt, and support continuous engineering improvement.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and techniques, sharing practical improvements with the team.

Requirements

Must-have:

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or any discipline.
• Applicants must currently reside in Malaysia and have the legal right to work in Malaysia.
• Hands-on delivery experience across backend services, data integration, and frontend applications.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications or features, including integrating AI models or services and validating their outputs.
• Practical experience using AI coding tools and agentic development workflows, including prompt and context engineering and human review of AI-generated code. Tools may include Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, security, and observability, including evaluations appropriate to AI functionality.
• Ability to independently take requirements through implementation and deployment, explain technical decisions, and communicate delivery risks clearly.

• Experience creating reusable agent instructions, rules files, project scaffolding, or skills libraries.
• Experience selecting AI tools and models based on development needs, complexity, and security requirements.
• Applying UI/UX best practices to user-facing applications.
