Job summary

Systems Limited seeks a Solution Architect to elicit and translate complex telecom business requirements into robust, scalable architectures for CRM, billing, order management, charging, provisioning and digital channels. You will drive end-to-end design and ensure alignment with quality and contractual standards.

The role requires 10+ years in IT/telecom with hands-on architecture, BRD/FRD and integration documents, API patterns, and strong stakeholder facilitation.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in telecom BSS/OSS or digital transformation projects.
• Experience producing BRD/FRD, HLD/LLD, and integration documents for large telecom programs.
• Strong understanding of APIs, middleware, and data modeling in telecom environments.
• TOGAF, CBAP/CCBA, CSM/PSM or vendor certifications preferred.
• APAC telecom operator experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements with workshops, interviews, and stakeholders.
• Produce BRD, FRD, use cases, user stories, and process flows with clarity and traceability.
• Maintain requirement traceability matrices and manage requirement changes.

Job description

Systems Limited is seeking a Solution Architect responsible for eliciting and analyzing business requirements and translating them into robust, scalable solution architectures for telecom BSS/OSS systems. The role encompasses CRM, billing, order management, charging, provisioning, and digital channels, ensuring that solutions are technically sound, aligned with business objectives, and delivered in accordance with agreed quality and contractual standards.

Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement with telecom business users.
• Produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FSDs), use cases, user stories, and process flows, ensuring clarity and traceability.
• Maintain requirement traceability matrices and manage requirement changes through structured change control.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are correctly understood and delivered.
• Support UAT planning and execution, validating that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
• Design end-to-end solution architectures for telecom BSS/OSS systems, defining components, integrations, and data flows aligned to business and technical requirements.
• Produce High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and Integration Architecture documentation.
• Define integration approaches, APIs, and interfaces between CRM, billing, charging, order management, provisioning, and digital-channel systems.
• Ensure solution designs meet scalability, performance, security, and compliance standards and adhere to the client's enterprise architecture principles.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to development and QA teams throughout the delivery lifecycle, resolving design gaps and issues.
• Facilitate solution-discovery and design workshops with business stakeholders, vendors, and delivery partners to finalise scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Support estimation, proposals, and statements of work for new and expanded telecom engagements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (Master's an advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of overall IT/telecom experience, including 5+ years in solution architecture and/or business analysis of enterprise systems.
• Proven track record delivering telecommunications BSS/OSS or digital transformation projects (CRM, billing, order management, charging, provisioning, or digital channels).
• Strong experience producing BRD/FRD, HLD/LLD, and integration architecture documentation for large-scale telecom programs.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and data modelling in complex telecom environments.
• Hands-on experience with requirements management, SIT/UAT coordination, and the full requirements-to-deployment lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications strongly preferred: TOGAF, CBAP/CCBA, Certified Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), and/or vendor-specific (Oracle/Amdocs/Microsoft) certifications.
• Prior experience working with telecom operators in the APAC region is highly desirable
