Job summary

Bosch Malaysia is seeking a motivated Solution & Application Engineer (Linear Technology) to join our industrial automation team. You will be the technical expert for linear motion sizing, provide on-site support, and engage with semiconductor and OEM customers to tailor solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, rapid design under deadlines, and close collaboration with sales, product teams, and customers. Flexible working is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of linear motion sizing, mechanical calculations, and system selection.
• Experience in factory automation, CAD tools, on-site troubleshooting, and machine design.

Responsibilities

• Size, select, and engineer packaged Linear Motion solutions for customers.
• Act as the technical expert for Linear Technology products.
• Provide hands-on on-site application engineering support and commissioning.
• Deliver technical training, sizing guidance, and solution updates to the team.
• Develop BOMs and quotes to support the sales team.
• Prepare technical presentations and proposals for key stakeholders.
• Tailor linear motion packages to meet customer specifications.
