Job summary

Bosch Malaysia seeks a Solution & Application Engineer (Linear Technology) to be the technical expert for Linear Motion solutions. You’ll provide application engineering, sizing, system design, and on-site support to key semiconductor and OEM accounts.

You will collaborate with sales, product teams, and customer engineers to tailor multi-axis linear packages, prepare proposals, and support BOM creation and quotations for the sales team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of linear motion sizing, mechanical calculations, and system selection.
• Experience with factory automation, CAD tools, on-site troubleshooting, and machine design.

Responsibilities

• Size, design, and integrate linear motion solutions for customers.
• Provide on-site application engineering support and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, and quotation support for sales.
• Deliver technical presentations to engineering leads and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales, product teams, and customers to meet requirements.
