Job summary

Bosch Group in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, is seeking an Engineer – Equipment (Machine Construction). The role focuses on planning investments, defining SRS, setting up machines, and driving continuous improvement for new lines and automation projects.

You should hold a Bachelor’s in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, and have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; on-site work only.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar engineering or manufacturing role.
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia; able to work on-site in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Plan MAE and EWAK investments for new and existing lines; include cost and feasibility analysis.
• Define SRS with Value Stream functions; purchase, set up, trial, and buy off all workstations and accessories for new products and automation/improvement projects.
• Set up machines and equipment with IE support and complete buy-off before Pilot Run and Mass Production; drive continuous improvement to reduce setup time.
