Job summary

Guiding Essence Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Sales & Solutions Executive in Johor to bridge technical solutions with customer needs. You will develop technical proposals, engage customers, and contribute to business development.

You may be involved in the full sales cycle or focus on technical solution design and proposal preparation, depending on project requirements. The role supports growth in solar energy solutions across Johor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in solar energy, technical sales, engineering solutions or project proposal preparation is an advantage.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer relationship management skills.
• Comfortable handling both technical work and customer-facing responsibilities.
• Proactive, independent and results-oriented, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a growing company.
• Willing to travel for site visits, customer meetings and projects when required.
• Able to work on-site during regular office hours, except when attending external meetings or site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and feasibility.
• Engage with customers to understand their technical needs and project expectations.
• Develop suitable solar energy solutions, technical proposals and quotations.
• Review and revise technical proposals based on customer feedback and project requirements.
• Manage customer relationships from initial enquiry through to deal closure.
• Follow up on proposals, quotations and commercial discussions.
• Present and explain proposed solutions to customers.
• Participate in client meetings, networking and business entertainment activities when required.
• Identify potential business opportunities and contribute to the company's growth.
• Work closely with the administrative team to ensure proper preparation and processing of sales-related documentation.
