Job summary

GetSolar, Southeast Asia's embedded energy financing platform, is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive residential leads and support the sales team in Malaysia. You’ll be the first contact for prospects, handle inbound calls, and qualify opportunities while learning end-to-end sales processes.

No solar experience required; 1–2 years in sales or customer service, diploma+, fluent English and Bahasa Melayu.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher required.
• 1–2 years in sales or customer service.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls and messages.
• Conduct discovery and qualification calls to identify top-of-funnel leads.
• Pitch Rent-to-Own solar offers and drive conversions to advisory calls.
• Assist in rooftop solar designs and proposals for potential clients.
• Manage appointment scheduling for sales associates for advisory calls or site surveys.
• Support the sales team with new initiatives to enhance the sales process and customer experience.
• Handle ad-hoc projects to support the team.
