Job summary
HAG Solar Energy in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking a Solar Sales Engineer to translate leads into real projects, build strong customer relationships, and advocate smarter energy solutions for homes and businesses.
You will collaborate with our Sales & Business Development Manager, pursue targets, present proposals, and coordinate with operations and technical teams. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred, with own transport required.
Qualifications
- Experience in solar, electrical, construction, or related industries preferred.
- Sales-driven and confident in handling customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible and results-oriented.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Follow up and close incoming leads.
- Understand customer needs and propose suitable solar solutions.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
- Prepare quotations and proposals.
- Coordinate with internal operations and technical teams.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to company growth.
