Job summary

SOLS Energy Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead outreach to residential solar customers, qualify leads, and close deals. You will communicate via calls, WhatsApp, and email, and drive promotions to generate sales. A CRM-enabled role with a commission structure supports growth.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, translate technical product info for customers, and contribute to expanding solar adoption across the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2C sales and telemarketing.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, or Mass Communication.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Background in solar photovoltaic is a bonus.
• Preference for indoors.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers through outbound calls, WhatsApp and email, then follow up on leads.
• Activate company promotions and activities to boost enquiries and generate sales leads.
• Maximize sales volume and value using persuasive selling methods and by understanding customers’ needs.
• Be the voice of the customer: addressing questions, supplying additional info on our residential solar photovoltaic solutions, and managing customers’ expectations.
• Manage all stages of the sales cycle including lead qualification and conversion, document collection, closing deals, and following up on payment.
• Track sales progress on a CRM system and ensure all relevant data and documents are captured.
• If it is necessary, then proceed to outdoor sales.
