Job summary

Sungrow in Malaysia seeks Technical Support Engineers to assist customers in Australia with residential Solar PV and ESS systems. You will diagnose faults, perform remote monitoring and support commissioning to ensure reliable system operation.

Ideal candidates have electrical engineering fundamentals, good English communication, and 1–3 years of related experience. Fresh graduates are welcome with strong fundamentals and training will be provided.

Qualifications

Electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of AC/DC systems.
1–3 years in electrical equipment troubleshooting or renewable energy systems.
Fresh graduates welcome if strong fundamentals.
Able to explain technical issues to customers.
Strong analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with residential solar PV inverters, hybrids and ESS.
Analyse fault codes and electrical data to identify causes and solutions.
Provide remote technical support to Australian customers via phone, email, and monitoring platforms.
Support remote commissioning, configuration and guidance for PV and ESS installations.
Perform remote monitoring and basic O&M, including warranty coordination.
Collaborate with Engineering/R&D to resolve complex issues.
Maintain accurate technical case records and manage support tickets to KPIs.
Continuously update knowledge on Sungrow products.
