Job summary

Pekat Group seeks a Design Associate Manager (GCPV) in the Solar Division to lead PV system design, CAD drawings, and tender documentation. You will conduct site audits, develop grid-connected proposals for residential and commercial projects, and collaborate with M&E consultants to drive growth.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 5–8 years of solar design experience, and preferably GCPV certification. On-site work across Malaysia is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably GCPV certified.
• 5–8 years of experience in solar design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits and gather information for solar system design.
• Create grid-connected solar system proposals for residential and commercial buildings.
• Develop design specifications and CAD layouts including single-line diagrams.
• Prepare tender documents and technical drawings for submission.
• Collaborate with M&E consultants to align specs and grow opportunities.
