We are seeking a skilled Solar Design Engineer. You'll be responsible for designing efficient solar photovoltaic (PV) systems from concept to detailed engineering ensuring technical excellence, safety and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design solar PV systems using design software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD or similar tools
• Perform site assessment and solar potential analysis
• Prepare detailed single-line diagrams (SLD), layout drawings and system sizing calculations
• Conduct energy yield simulations and prepare technical proposals or BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
• Review and ensure all designs comply with local authority (SEDA, Suruhanjaya Tenaga) and utility (TNB) requirements
• Provide as-built drawings and technical documentation upon project completion

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy or related Engineering fields
• Minimum 25 years of experience in solar PV system design (experience in EPC or renewable energy companies preferred)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, inverters and solar PV component
