Job summary

Solarvest Holdings Bhd. is seeking a capable Electrical Design Engineer–CAD Specialist in Penang to produce and verify PV DC/AC electrical drawings and prepare detailed 3D models.

You will ensure CAD standards, support tender and construction drawings, and collaborate with engineers on drawing submissions. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, and strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively in a fast-paced solar

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with EPC projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
• Able to work independently and articulate ideas clearly.
• Strong follow-up, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Produce design drawings for PV DC & AC electrical systems.
• Verify DC/AC electrical drawings for engineers.
• Review drawings and specifications; initiate changes as needed.
• Coordinate with competent person for drawing submission/proposals.
• Prepare tender, construction, as-built and shop drawings.
• Assist in compiling as-built documentation.
• Ensure CAD standards and revision systems are followed.
• Create 3D models using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/GstarCAD/SketchUp.
