Job summary

Bell Ward Malaysia is seeking a Design Manager to lead the design and engineering function for Commercial & Industrial rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV projects in Selangor.

You will manage and develop a team of designers and drafters, oversee the technical design from inception through completion, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and drive process improvements while collaborating with project, commercial and internal teams to optimise performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of solar PV design/engineering experience, especially C&I.
• Proven experience in a design/engineering leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical engineering and industry standards.
• Experience with rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar projects.
• SEDA GCPV/OGPV certification is preferred.
• Site testing, commissioning and SCADA experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
