Job summary

Suntec Solar Sdn Bhd in Beranang, Selangor is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to join our growing team. You will plan, coordinate and execute solar PV projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

You will work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification, with on-site visits, documentation and progress reporting as key duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience or understanding of solar PV, electrical systems and project coordination is advantageous.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor solar PV projects from planning through installation and completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Conduct site visits, assessments and inspections as required.
• Assist with solar PV system planning, technical requirements and project documentation.
• Monitor progress, installation quality and site activities.
• Provide technical support and help resolve project/site issues.
• Coordinate materials, equipment and manpower needs.
• Prepare project reports and submissions.
• Ensure projects meet specifications, timelines and safety standards.
• Support on-site installation and handover to sales/technical teams.

Suntec Solar Sdn Bhd is looking for a Solar Project Engineer to join our growing team in Beranang, Selangor.

In this role, you will be involved in the planning, coordination and execution of solar PV projects, working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and our internal teams to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, safely and according to project requirements.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience across residential, commercial and industrial solar projects while developing your technical and project management skills in the growing renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and monitor solar PV projects from planning through installation and completion.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Conduct site visits, site assessments and project inspections when required.

Assist with solar PV system planning, technical requirements and project documentation.

Monitor project progress, installation quality and site activities.

Provide technical support and assist in resolving project and site-related issues.

Coordinate project materials, equipment and manpower requirements.

Prepare project reports, technical documentation and project submissions.

Ensure projects are completed according to specifications, timelines and safety requirements.

Coordinate and support on-site installation and project activities.

Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure smooth project handover and completion.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field.

Experience in solar PV, electrical engineering, construction or project coordination will be an advantage.

Good understanding of electrical systems and solar PV technology.

Strong problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.

Able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsible, organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.
