We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our growing team in the renewable energy sector. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers on the design, planning, and execution of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects across Malaysia.
As part of our project delivery team, you will be involved in technical coordination, construction supervision, documentation, and liaising with key stakeholders, including utility companies and government authorities. You'll gain hands‑on experience in managing the full project lifecyclefrom bidding to commissioning.

- Working with various projects across Malaysia, can be based on or off-site and manage priorities among different projects.
- Cooperate with the project manager / leading engineer's management of PV project design, construction quality and progress, timely and proactively coordinate and communicate with the project management team.
- Carry out dynamic management of engineering technical solutions, schedules, personnel and other issues, guarantee quality based on drawing and design standard, while ensure work tasks complete on time.
- Promptly cooperate with the project team to coordinate and communicate, and complete the task as required in line with project plan.
- To liaise with consultant on technical issues and resolve within period of time.
- Participate in the preparation of bidding and tender documents, technical specifications and technical negotiations, and participate in the review of design plans and construction drawings.
- Prepare technical proposals for tender submissions, including engineering assessments, preliminary system design, technical documentation, and other relevant proposal materials.
- Involve in the engineering and design development of Solar PV projects, including proposing suitable plant/system capacity based on project requirements and site conditions, and preparing preliminary PV layouts to support capacity assessment and project proposals.
- Review construction drawings and ensure familiarity with project drawings, specifications, design requirements, and relevant construction details prior to and during project execution.
- Liaise and coordinate with suppliers/vendors on technical specifications, equipment selection, quotations, product compliance, delivery requirements, and other technical matters related to the project and tender submission.
- Timely reporting of task progress and status to the engineer / project leader.
- Responsible for the management of the equipment / assets of the project undertaken, including shop drawings, test reports, delivery plan.
- Responsible for the preservation of the information, quality records, and archives of the projects undertaken.
- Responsible for the publication and archiving of end production of the projects undertaken.
- Responsible for the technical connection between the project and the grid company, and handling of the relevant government construction procedures.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in civil engineering, construction and related fields.
- Language: Verbal and written proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Skill: Civil/Building Services Design & Calculation per local standard, Estimation, Documentation, Supervision, Project Coordination and Management, AutoCad. Literate in MS office and other documentation tools.
- Familiar with construction drawings and able to understand and review basic civil, structural, architectural and/or M&E drawings relevant to Solar PV project execution.
- Familiar with basic Quality Control (QC) work, including site inspections, workmanship checks, material verification, inspection records, quality documentation, and ensuring construction works comply with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Working in solar-related projects will be an advantage.
