Job summary

Solartech in Selangor is seeking a field technician to install, service and maintain solar water heating and solar PV systems at customer sites.

You will carry out commissioning works, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and quality on every installation. The role requires physical fitness, ability to travel to sites, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors.
• Possess a valid driving licence (GDL licence is an advantage).
• Physically fit and willing to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain solar water heating and solar PV systems at customer sites
• Carry out system commissioning works
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to solar installations and equipment
• Ensure all installations are completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Transport materials and equipment to project sites when required
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
