Job summary
SYMMETRY ENERGY SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Solar PV Technician to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential and commercial sites. Safety and performance are emphasized to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in solar PV installation or maintenance; fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered.
- GCPV certification/qualification is welcome.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, solar PV components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The Solar PV Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance for both residential and commercial solar PV systems.
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in solar PV installation or maintenance (fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered).
- Candidates with GCPV certification/qualification are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, solar PV components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
