Job summary

Easy Solar Sdn Bhd,-based in Sabah, is seeking a Solar Engineer/Technician (Junior and Senior) to design residential, C&I and hybrid PV systems. You will perform site surveys, develop safe and compliant designs, and provide drawings, BOQs and technical support to sales and project delivery teams.

You will engage in design-to-site handover, keep up with evolving standards, and may lead discussions with clients, consultants and authorities.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
0–2 years of experience. Fresh graduates with strong interest in solar are welcome.
Strong PV design knowledge, PVsyst, protection coordination and grid-connection requirements.
Experience with hybrid, BESS or genset-integrated systems is highly preferred.
Able to lead technical discussions with clients, consultants and authorities.
Willingness to travel for site surveys across Sabah, including rural areas.

Responsibilities

Site Assessment: conduct surveys on roof condition, orientation, shading and infra.
System Design: design residential, C&I and hybrid PV systems including layouts and sizing.
Energy Yield & Sizing: run yield simulations and sizing against load profiles.
Drawings & Documentation: prepare SLDs, PV layouts and BOQs in AutoCAD.
Sales & Proposal Support: assist with technical proposals and ROI calculations.
Authority Submissions: prepare design docs for ECOS/utility applications.
Design-to-Site Handover: brief team and support during installation.
Continuous Improvement: update design templates and standards.
