Job summary

Swisslog in Malaysia is seeking a Software Technical Lead to drive successful software project delivery from requirements to post‑go‑live support. You will provide technical leadership, guide architecture, and coordinate across Software, Testing, Product, and Solution Design teams.

The role requires 7+ years in software development with 2–3 years leading teams, strong Java/SQL expertise, and hands-on experience with Java EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 2–3 years leading technical teams or project delivery.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Java, and Java EE technologies.
• Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Java EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Experience leading technical solution delivery, effort estimation, and technical risk management.
• Experience defining software architecture and reviewing technical designs for enterprise solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and meet challenging project deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel and work on site when required.
