Job summary
Swisslog Holding AG in Malaysia seeks an experienced SAP Developer to lead the SAP development team and shape the ABAP/UI5/FiORI roadmap within an SAP-centric landscape. You will collaborate with global IT teams and design integrations across ABAP, S4/HANA, BTP, and FIORI.

Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable education.
- Very good knowledge or experience in employee management.
- Experience in IT demand management and project procedures.
- Very good knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM).
- Excellent knowledge and at least ten years of experience in SAP software development and database modeling (ABAP, ABAP Objects, CDS, HANA).
- Excellent knowledge in GUI development (SAP GUI, SAP UI5, Web Dynpro ABAP).
- Good knowledge in interface programming (OData, SOAP, ALE, RFC, BAPI).
- Good knowledge in form development (Adobe Interactive Forms, SAP Smart Forms, SAP Script).
- Willingness for continuous education and learning new technologies.

Responsibilities
- Leading professionally and disciplinary the SAP development team.
- Further development and implementation of the SAP development and SAP technology roadmap.
- Capacity planning for SAP development resources for operations, change requests and projects.
- Responsibility for compliance with SAP development guidelines.
- Main point of contact for all internal questions regarding SAP development.
- Project or Subproject leader in challenging SAP projects.
- Close collaboration with the global IT teams in Augsburg (Germany), Budapest (Hungary) and Redditch (UK).
- Evaluation, design, and implementation of complex ABAP development requirements in close collaboration with national and international departments.
- Creating technical concepts, development, and implementation of company-specific applications based on SAP ABAP, ABAP OO, S4/HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP FIORI.
- Programming of interfaces (e.g. OData, BAPI, RFC, SOAP, and ALE) also in conjunction with non-SAP applications such as ESB and Salesforce.
- Development and extension of forms (SAP Interactive Forms, SAP Smart Forms, SAP Script).
- Development of state-of-the-art UI5 and FIORI applications.
- Quality assurance of SAP developments (RICEFW).
- Independent handling of incidents at the SAP application level.
